About

The story

A front line of three dancers, singers, and rappers gives Hip Hop Hooray several ways to carry a show. The Dallas act backs them with drums, bass, and guitar in an old-school hip-hop program. Ice Ice Baby, Everybody Dance Now, and Humpty Dance are among the selections. The staging centers on movement and vocal exchanges, with the live rhythm players keeping the music underneath.
